Kathmandu, 10 Dec : Different 40 organizations pitching for the rights of differently able have demanded separate budget arrangement for this section of society.
The demand came at a meeting between the representatives of the organizations and various ministries to discuss government budget, policy and programme and future plan dedicated to physically challenged people.
The organizations also called for the government to make upcoming year’s budget disabled-friendly.
Among other demands put forth to ministry representatives are provisioning separate arrangements for education, health, employment, social security and access to information to disabled people.
Chairperson of National Federation of the Disabled Nepal Sudarshan Subedi said the state should enable disabled-friendly environment to give them space in every structures of the state.
